When was it and what did he do?

I seem to remember sometime in late 2000, Goldberg was getting beat down by a bunch of heels (led by Luger, I think), when he ran out to the parking lot. Bret was outside and initially looked like he was gonna help him out, but then turned on him to end the show. After that I don't remember seeing him again. Anyone know for sure?

I think Bret's last apperance was when he jumped the guardrail and slammed the cagedoor of the triple cage into Goldberg's thick noggin to prevent him from winning Wargames 2000.

It was probably when he congradulated Lance Storm on winning the US Title.

I think the cage door slamming was Bret's last actual WCW appearance.

His last actual match, IIRC, was a cage match against Nash that Terry Funk made him wrestle in. Bret was badly injured by that point and in no real shape to compete. I'm amazed he made it through any sort of match, even one against Nash, in his condition.

But, yeah, that's the note he went out on. Now, we look forward to his next appearance on WWE TV.

I remember that angle with Bret in the desert. Bret turned about 5 times during that bit.

I think evervbody who was involved in WCW in 2000 turned at least once that year, excluding Sting and Hogan.

Wrong. Sting and Hogan both turned that year, IIRC.

Nope... Sting's heel turn and face turn happened in mid-to-late 1999.

I hope Bret Hart comes back. F*ck this grudge between him and Vince, you can't be mad forever. Just come back for a little while and then ride off into the sunset. One match maybe or two. Bret Hart vs Hulk Hogan or Bret Hart vs The Rock.

He can't come back, at least in terms of wrestling. The guy just took a spill off of a bicycle and was partially paralyzed for a while. There's no way he's going to take another bump. There's no reason at all to risk his long term health (which is probably already pretty screwed up) for any match/angle.

He's also brained his damage, as a result of the concussion and stroke.

She posted on (and was much more active on) another board I'm a member of, and made it known she was beginning to train to be a wrestler (this was a few years ago).
