Bret Hart will reveal in tomorrow's column in the Calgary Sun that he was offered a spot in Wrestlemania. The proposal, made by Carl DeMarco of WWF Canada, was for Hart to appear, unadvertised, as the referee in the Chris Jericho vs. HHH WWF title match. Hart turned down the proposal and the appearance, but did briefly consider it.

In other Wrestelmania news, the tag team title match has been changed from Billy & Chuck vs. APA to a four-way which would also include the Hardys and Dudleys.

That would of been cool, but at the same time it would of made Bret to look like a hypocrite to suddenly appear as a referee after all the stuff he's said about the WWF in the last 3 1/2 years. So I think Bret made the right decision, IMO.

Too bad. I would've dug it highly. There would've been dozens of thousands of insane Canadians there upon sight of the Hitman walking down the ramp.

Can't fault him for saying 'no', though. I would've been hella shocked if he agreed to do it.

Can you dig it, sucka?

I for one think it would be awesome to have Bret Hart back in the WWF. But with all the stuff that happened, we'll see Bischoff in the WWF before Bret. Maybe one day though

Didn't Kurt say once he'd like to form a tag team with his brother? After the feud with Benoit blows over, I could see Kurt saying since Benoit couldn't get the job done, he's found a new partner he can count on.
