Right now every old WWF star is RUMORED to be at WM20. So who really knows anymore.

Then again they were supposed to be at those RAW X Awards too and no one was there.

If Bret Hart DOES make an appearance, it will be non-wrestling, as Bret seems to be smart enough to realize that returning to the ring (even once) would be downright stupid, health-wise. At least, I hope realizes this.

That's why I'm not holding my breath about anything pertaining to Wrestlemania 20. Like XpacArmy said, RAW X was supposed to be a big deal and they botched the show top to bottom.

If there's anything the W's have taught me, it's not to get my hopes up about anything and not to have any high expectations, because quite frankly, when was the last time WWE really delivered on something extraordinary anyway?

There's no way you can compare the RAW-X awards with WRESTLEMANIA 20. No way.

I don't even remember how well the RAW-X awards were hyped up..I recall them putting in some bullshit claims like certain surprises that didn't come true. But nowhere near what you guys are saying, and certainly not 1/100th the hype each of the Wrestlemanias in the past have gotten. And figure, as much as they hyped it, it was still an awards show.

With a card known well before the show, expectations may not be met but it will still be a spectacular night. I mean if we have Kane vs Taker, Brock vs Goldberg, Vince vs Austin, HHH vs Foley and still Benoit, Jericho, HBK, Flair, Angle, etc on the card on top of that, you know it'll be a good night with consistent wrestling. And if they're planning this five months before hand, you know there is a concerted effort to have something going.

BTW Plana, I didn't mean any harm with the joke, I'm more emphasizing how obsessive the internet can be with one single rumor.

I agree with the need to use Batista in strengthening the midcard and, with Survivor Series around the corner, having him build up a classic SS team allowing some lower card guys to headline would also be a good idea.
