Yet another reality show. Airs on ABC, Wednesdays at 9:00p EST. Anybody watch it? If so, am I the only one that hopes Jada gets mauled by a coyote and/or Frank?

I don't know about the Coyote, but it's amusing, anyway.Trying to figure out the "touching advance" the kids will make that week. Plus, making fun of the "earth Names" or the counselors. Little Big Bear and Fire Shaper, my butt.

My wife was watching that and I caught a bit of the end. I got a little humor at the reasons they were sent there that were displayed under their names. "tried to stab his twin brother"...ok he deserves it. "Self destructive drug addict"..maybe her too. But "Hyperactive"? Kid had to be sent to a "Brat Camp" because he was hyperactive?

Pissed Mommy off - wouldn't take his Ritalin. 'Course, kid's a bit of a baby for 13, but not too bad. It's fun to see one of the older guys kind of push him along.

Our favorite thing from the show already: Phantom Duker.

Yes. That's my new radio name. "Now, over to Phantom Duker with the Traffic report - Phantom?"

On the local news earlier today, they mentioned that one of the kids from the show -- didn't say which one, but he's from the area -- has been arrested for spraypainting swastikas, racial slurs, and similar lovely sentiments in front of a black woman's house.

Guess the program doesn't work all that well ...

(edit) Ah, here we are:

WINTON -- The 17-year-old boy who reportedly spray-painted racist slurs in front of a black woman's home last week is one of nine teenagers participating in a reality TV program to learn better manners.
Isaiah Alarcon has a national audience once a week on ABC's "Brat Camp," which documents his progress through a 50-day Oregon wilderness camp with a focus on disciplining troubled teens.

Now back from the camp, the Atwater High School student reportedly admitted to Merced County Sheriff's Department deputies that he used spray paint to scrawl "spook" and "Ners live here" in front of preschool teacher Angelic Royal's home on Palomino Drive early Friday morning.

Alarcon and his friend, Christopher Farenelli, 18, reportedly wrote the slurs and drew a swastika in the street after a drunken night of partying in Ceres.

"Ners"?

Isaiah is the one who likes to play with fire a lot and told his buddies that they need to throw him a huge party when he "gets out" and for parents who send their kids to this sagewalk to **** *** (I wonder what he said)..
Seems a tad angry - I don't think facepainting and learning to rappel will fix that. Couple years in prison - maybe...

He's actually 14, but I agree, he is kinda wimpy. I also thought it was ridiculous that Derek got grouped with drug addicts, knife fighters, and cokeheads. What exactly were his parents thinking? "Hmm, Derek won't take his meds. He's failing classes. Should we force him to take his medicine? Trick him into taking it? No, that's too risky. I know! Let's send him off to the Oregon desert in the dead of winter. Jackpot~!" Yikes.

Whatever problems Derek had will be nothing compared to having to go to school after crying "I want my mommy" over and over on national TV.
