But whatever the cap hit, I do think you're right. Even if he's just a 15-20 minute player, I won't mind if most of those minutes are in the 4th quarter where we always seem to have trouble holding a lead. Man has HEART.

The tweets I saw (IIRC) were two years/$10 million. In a league where Omer Asik is going to get $8 mil/year, that is absolutely NOT overpaying for a guy like Roy. If he can play 6th-man minutes, I think it's a great deal. Mentally he is the polar opposite of a knucklehead like Michael Beasley, and he's cheaper, too.

I am on board. If Roy can give you 20 minutes a night, he will be a bargain. Maybe missing some time gives him a more healthy start next season, but that bone on bone knee stuff probably won't end well.
