So, apparently he returned on Smackdown tonight, but at the same time this is over at 411 (taken from the PWTorch newsletter)

"APA were scheduled to return soon to Smackdown, but a double hernia has sidelined Bradshaw again for 6-8 weeks."

So, which is it? Did he get injured on his return, and we didn't here about it till today? Or is 411 really lazy and printing false information that was written before Tuesday night?

Maybe this should have gone in Site Bashing.

Edit: furthermore, how did they explain his appearance on Smackdown? Or did they even try?

Bradshaw wrote about his double hernia shortly after the operation in his June 5th WWE.com commentary. ("The good part, Dr. Pugh here in Athens, Texas, did my surgery. Dr. Pugh, who is a very good doctor, told me that my privates might turn black due to blood running down in them. My wife is very excited.") Perhaps he's healed quickly, or will be working a limited style for a little while.

I recalled reading about the hernia too a few weeks ago and figured the article was talking BS.

I guess once he got operated the problems quickly disolved and thus he can wrestle once more..

Anything that keeps Bradshaw off my TV screen is okay with me.

you're gonna need a bigger room

When Bradshaw first came out tonight, I thought he was billy gunn, cuz his hair was died blonde and he had no mustache. How funny would that have been? I guess more just weird and not funny.

I like his new look.

Anybody that gets their hair done Ryuji Yamazaki-style at least garners points for style.

That's his natural hair color.

I'm not trying to start a flame-war, or get everyone super excited, but how did Bradshaw get a reputation for being a locker room menace? A lot of people make jokes about him sodomizing other wrestlers, which I can 't imagine is true. I just honestly don't remember hearing about any examples of why he is talked about in this way.

Supposedly, and this supposedly is the size of a small planet, Bradshaw tied up former referee Billy Silverman in the shower and threatened to rape him.

Also, IIRC in the Hardys book they mention that Bradshaw is the unofficial enforcer of the locker room and "wrestler's court"

and maybe I should open up my sensitive side/but really, the sensitive side sucks./I've been there./You can only imagine the kinds of sweaters they make you wear.

You know, between Bradshaw and Christian, it seems Vince McMahon wants everyone on the roster to look like a different sized version of Test.

No--you're conflating two rumors into one. ;-) Silverman quit the company and he has said he doesn't like Bradshaw, but the shower thing is something else entirely, wasn't specific to Bradshaw, and predates Silverman's short tenure in WWE by several years. As a matter of rumor, the threats were a way to get someone to stop bragging in the locker room about his predilection for dropping date-rape drugs in women's drinks.

The APA thing will work again if they have the backstage vignettes of them in the office (damn, does anyone remember the roster split show when they closed the APA office, that was kinda sad ... sorry went on a tangent), drinking beer, smoking cigars and playing cards.

But i'm having a hard time called him Ron Simmons instead of Faarooq. If they're gonna called him 'Ron Simmons' at least called Mr. Layfield 'John Bradshaw'.

I have no problem with Bradshaw when he keeps his political views to himself (which is almost never). I really don't care who he thinks is a "great American" or what he thinks constitutes a "great American". Leave those summations to the people who have a logical leg to stand on, and some kind of credibility, which is not a professional athlete (if you want to strech that definition to apply someone as flabby and slow-moving as Bradshaw).

Oh yeah, and don't let him wrestle.

Or speak.

If they do that, I'm fine with him.

I aplogize in advance for this off topic post, but Damnit I need to rant.

As one of a dying breed of men with long hair, I am hurt by all these wrestlers cutting their hair and getting it done with Backstreet Boy blonde highlights, of course, they all sport a goatee to showcase a macho yet at the same time intellectual and sensitive side. What happened to tradition damnit?

I think the problem lies with the new big sponsor...Maxim "haircolor for men" Them and their absolutely ludicrous commercials. After an hour of those commericals and Truth.com commericals, Steph's voice is a harp played up in the heavens by Apollo himself.

Men getting highlights? BAH!

I loved that office! That, the beer drinking, and the poker playing made me actually like the APA. DAAAAMN!

The Sable lawsuit presents plenty of examples of Bradshaw's 'leadership'. And of course, the sloppy powerbombs as punishment to Saturn was another example of his 'leadership'. With such locker room leaders as Taker/Trip/Bradshaw, how could the company not succeed?

If that story is true Manga, then I'll give him some props... But I always suspect Bradshaw being the one taking advantage of individuals who can't stand up to him.
