The pictures that the London Sun and the New York Post and others published today showing Saddam Hussein in his briefs are (rightly) causing an uproar in the world community.
It pisses me off that our military members (probably) took the pictures, even casually, and supplied them to the Sun. Haven't we learned yet? And if it came from elsewhere (I hope), then my apologies.
It pisses me off even more that rags like the Sun and Post would publish them.
When did news always try to hurt people. Don't those papers know that doing this will cause needless deaths? Alledgedly, both papers have conservative slants, but apparently, it's all about the Elizabeths for the folks at the Sun
I am generally opposed to the death penalty. But, I would agree that the death penalty should be reserved for those who commit the most heinous of crimes, and Bin Laden certainly qualifies on that count.
