I do think that WMX7 and XX are pretty much neck and neck. But I give the nod to XX. The return of Taker, the outstanding Triple Threat match, the tag matches, Cena/Show. From top to bottom XX was the better show. X7 was special for me because it was in my hometown and seeing the Astrodome full of rabid fans was awesome. I guess what puts it over for me as XX being better is the main event. I actually liked Austin/Rock from X8 more than the X7 match because I hated the screwjob ending from X7. I hated the X7 build up, I hated trying to turn him at the PPV, I hated the out of the ring brawling. That is just me though. I wished they just made the match, Austin/Rock, two of the greatest seeing who was best, period. If you wanted to turn Austin, do it the next night on Raw. Leave Wrestlemania alone!
January 4th 1999 - The day WCW injected itself with 10 gallons of Liquid Anthrax...AKA...The day Hogan "Defeated" Nash to win the WCW title in front of 40,000.
Yeah, I'd say it's silly to pool them for "Worst Match" honours. Pro wrestlers should entertain first and foremost, mixed-martial artists' only aim should be to win, so the criteria for judging 'best' and 'worst' should be different.
