| #1 Posted on 5.3.03 1903.42 | David Boston agreed to terms on a 7 year, $42 million contract with the San Diego Chargers. He cancelled a trip to Baltimore and his other trips earlier today, according to John Clayton of ESPN.
I can't say how happy I am about this. When Butler released Curtis Conway, I told my friends, "They're going after Boston," and, by God, they got him. Drew Brees gave Boston the hard sell Monday, and LT got to sell the Bolts to Boston at lunch yesterday. And, according to Charger team physicians, his knee is healthy and ready.

Yet another proud day to be an Arizona Cardinals fan. Where's Rod Tidwell when you need him?
Well Mr. Burns had done it. The power plant had won it. With Rogers Clemens clucking all the while. Mike Scioscia's tragic illness made us smile. While Wade Boggs lay unconscious on the barroom tile. We're talkin'... Softball. From Maine to San Diego. Talkin'... Softball. Mattingly and Canseco. Ken Griffey's grotesquely swollen jaw. Steve Sax and his run-in with the law. We're talkin' Homer... Ozzie and the Straw.
