Outside of his stint in Justice League International and his bromance with Ted Kord Blue Beetle, I was never really a fan of Booster himself. Actually, I'd love to see him lead the Conglomerate on television.
The news of a possible Booster Gold series reminds me of how weird it is after 10 years to not have Smallville. No weekly escape to that goofy, maddening, yet attractive Superman TV world. Maybe Booster could fill that void?

I loved LOVED LOVED LOVED LOVED loved his last series, the one where he obfuscated stupidity by day and was the guardian of the multiverse every other time including during the day. LOOOOOOVED his characterization in Generation Lost. If I had to rank my favorite comics:
1a) Atomic Robo. 1b) BOOSTEG GOLD. 1c) Blue Beetle (Jaime, of course).
I, also, am pretty thrilled about this. Only time will tell if they get the series right, but I am actually really optimistic. I just hope that they have at least one of either Skeets or Rip Hunter in the show as well. Booster needs a straight man.
The people who work on this show have mad devotion to their crafts. God bless 'em. Wow, Bill Hader writes for South Park?!!? Did not know that. Wow, he really doesn't seem to add much except to laugh at other people's ideas.
