|  #1 Posted on 27.6.05 1829.50 | Instant Rating: 1.89 | According to a few news sites (including PWInsider), this is supposedly going to be a fiction book that cleans up the character's screwy and sometimes contradictory backstory. A "Crisis on Infinite Earths" for Kane I guess.
I usually wouldn't give something like this much notice, but considering I don't mind the comic bookish stuff, I like the character, and the book is under 10 bucks...I'll buy it.

For those that don’t know, the Tiger Mask character was based on a Japanese cartoon, so Misawa stepping out of that and becoming the best wrestler in his country would be kind of like Chris Benoit doing a Darkwing Duck gimmick and then becoming the Chris Benoit we all mark over. - AWC

Paul Bearer, Kane's biological father raised him secretly away from the outside world after an accident killed the family and scarred Kane.
Bearer told Kane that his brother, the Undertaker burned down the funeral home on purpose so Kane was taught to hate his brother.
Kane shows up, confronts his brother and they feud for a while. Eventually they reconcile.
Undertaker forms the Ministry of Darkness with Paul Bearer and reveals that he indeed started the fire on purpose.
Kane is all alone so he has nowhere to turn and joins the Corporation.
After befriending X-Pac, Kane leaves the Corporation and finally talks without the aid of a voicebox.
X-Pac turns on Kane to rejoin Degeneration-X. Tori starts a relationship with him, only to turn on him and hook up with X-Pac. Tori claims Kane has no penis because it was burned to a crisp.
Kane turns heel because Jericho spilled coffee on him accidentally.
Reunites with Undertaker forming the Brothers of Destruction tag-team.
While fighting the nWo, Kane gets injured and returns with a smaller mask.
Kane gets romantically linked to Terri.
Triple H reveals a secret about Kane's past. While dating a girl named Katie Vick, Kane caused an auto accident due to not being good with stick shift. Vick was his passenger and died from the crash. Kane then had sex with Katie Vick's corpse according to Triple H.
Kane finally loses his mask and goes insane. He lights Jim Ross on fire and elctrocutes Shane McMahon's testicles.
Kane begins to stalk Lita and keeps attacking Matt Hardy. Kane tell Lita he'll keep attacking Hardy unless she has sex with him.
Lita becomes pregnent and Kane is revealed to be the father. Lita is forced to marry Kane after Hardy loses a match with the stipulation that the winner gets Lita.
Shortly after Kane and Lita get married. A debuting Gene Snitsky causes Lita to lose her baby after hitting Kane with a chairshot. Snitsky says it's not his fault.
Kane turns face and feuds with Snitsky. His marriage with Lita seems to be working out afterall.
Lita divorces Kane after hooking up with Edge. Edge flushes their wedding ring down the toilet.
