It's interesting that the MacFarlane shows all got canceled a few weeks ago after the storms and flooding in the south, but Bob's Burgers is still going through their storm episode.
It seems oddly funny to me that everyone's first reaction to a hurricane is to have a burger. What was really great was Louise's first instinct: TO LOOT! It's just too bad that they went to the Beavis and Butt-head School of Looting. The kids were pretty much the highlight of the episode, especially once they got into their lobster fantasies. Gotta love that Louise imagines herself in the middle of an execution...while STILL wearing her bunny hat.
It got a little silly at the end, but still a good episode.
Bob: Hey! What are you guys looking at over there? Louise: Uh, nothing! Just pictures of people...doing it. Bob: Oh. Hey, wait a minute! That's not porn!
I am on the fence with this one. Louis is starting to put me off a little bit and Bob acting like a child near the end was a reach. I really hate the food inspector and its not I hate him, because he is such a good character, I just find him useless. Bob has Pesto as his a villain, he doesn't need another one right now.
It doesn't have all the social commentary, witty phrases, or pop culture references that shows like South Park, Family Guy, and The Simpsons have, but that's good.
I think it must be the kids acting like crazy kids. Gene cracks me up consistently with simple gags like getting hit in the face with a piece of plywood while looting.
It will be interesting to see how long this show hangs around.
It was nice to see a more shallow side to Brian and even a bit of a darksider. Stewie has been their ace for a long time now and I did love him not coloring in the lines while talking about his drag roller derby name.
