I find it hard to believe he couldn't get a job in the US. But then, maybe he just likes Japan.

A Republican and a Democrat are walking down the street when they come across a homeless man. The Republican gives the man his business card, and told him to come to his office for a job. He then took $20 out of his pocket and gave it to the homeless man.
The Democrat was very impressed, and when they came to another homeless man, he decided to help. He walked over to the homeless man and gave him directions to the welfare office. He then reached into the Republican's pocket and gave him $50. | DrDirt

He loves it in Japan. Also he likes the attitude of the players in Japan better and he fits in better there with his attitude. I think he believes he is supposed to be the only prima donna on a team. To be fair though, I don't like him on ESPN either, but he does have a good mind for baseball and would have also been an all-star player if he hadn't destroyed his leg. That may help explain his attitude.
