The only time there seemed to be any progress in this mess was when it was Bill Daly, Ted Saskin, Trevor Linden, and basically anyone not named Gary Bettman or Bob Goodenow leading the charge. But screw it, we'll be having this same "get them outta there, we need a deal done now" argument in six months, so I'll save thoughts on that for then.
