OK, I would've never believed this unless I saw it with my own eyes...
On Conan O'Brien, he was interviewing Bob Costas... They showed the clip of Costas' interview with Vince McMahon from last year. I'm thinking "Here we go..."
Welcome to the Mirror Universe.
Costas talks about how McMahon called him the next day, "asking for a rematch," and how they'll have him on again for another year. But wait- there's more. Costas then went on to say that Vince McMahon is a COMEDIC GENIUS and some of their material is "great." He said that some of it is crass and goes too far, but there's a lot of good stuff. He even cited the Hogan-Rock match from WM X-8.
Yes, this was BOB COSTAS saying this. Gimme an ice pack. I'm gonna need it for my jaw, which just hit the floor after watching this interview.
I thought last night's show was okay. It didn't feel like the epic sort of show that it was built to be, but it was still pretty solid. Aside from the main event, there wasn't really anything else on the show that felt important.
