My anticipation of this show returning is on par with Game of Thrones.
The unraveling of Nucky's Empire with Jimmy in the middle fighting his conscience is going to make for some great TV over the next couple months.
In any other episode, the scene with Capone and George Remus would steal the show. Why would George Remus steal from Nucky Thompson? He wouldn't. Of course not. Exactly.
In this episode, though, Van Alden's raid on the restaurant was awesome.
But then, the seamless transition from Nucky addressing the black congregation to Nucky addressing the white congregation was also pretty incredible.
It felt A LOT like Jericho to me, particularly with the militias and the end reveal. It was certainly flawed, but I liked it enough to check out a couple more episodes. Mondays at 10 is a death slot though, isn't it?
