1) "Read Post" color has been changed from grey to a color which should always match the theme of the board colors at that moment.
2) A glitch which may have shown the incorrect posts read for people in different time zones to the East of us has been isolated and removed.
3) Signature and Header information has been moved to seperate fields in the posts table - this will allow me to make a text only version for modem users in the next few days.
4) When quoting using the Quote option in the reply bar, signatures and post headers are no longer included.

Cool, Guru.
Question: Why is it that when you edit your posts, everything shows up as HTML? I know simple HTML like italics, bold, etc. But *man* it confuses me sometimes. (Everything confuses me sometimes, but that's another story)
Is there a way to edit posts so that everything still shows in Weiner-codes (as opposed to EZcodes) instead of HTML?
Just asking.

I done screwed up the board.
Currently (thanks to Dean's post I noticed this) the [ ] codes are not working if you used them in your post header or sig.
It also looks like I forgot to move the sig and header into their new fields in the newthread.php file, so they are all still ending up in the body of the post - which means if you quote them, you will still get the header and sig of that post in your quote.
It's my girlfriends birthday and I'm spending the whole day with her. I'll fix this tomorrow if the Superbowl is boring.

I fixed the thing that was broken... the replacement codes should work in headers and sigs now, and only the text of a post should end up in the text field of a new thread now.

All in all it looks pretty good. I may need to try to code around some of the colors, but I'm happy with the 4 variations I've seen so far. | Merc

When I logged in, I was greeted with a loverly Brown/Maroon scheme which I thought was ugly looking. So I decided to post my "Blech" message.
I like the Blue, and I think I saw a green that wasn't that bad.
The Maroon must have been up at 5:30 CST, hense my post about how "Blechy" it was. But if you're happy with it, it's fine with me. I'll just wait it out.
