That's not all. The amount of EXP it allegedly dishes out is set to 0 per post & 0 for idling time as well. However, I don't know if that's just a superficial problem with the profiles or if we're not actually getting the EXP with each post. This will be a test of that very thing...
Edit: Nope, we still get the EXP, but it just doesn't say so in our profiles. So it's only boardskin-deep.
Re-edit: Ah, I see what they're screwing around with. Before, if you edited a post multiple times, it left an 'edited by' trail. Now, that's part of the main body, and you can excise the previous edits if you like (though I guess there will always be one leftover).
Yes, it was much neater when we were left to surmise its etymology. I was looking forward to saying, "I'm gonna kludge this shtumie right after I schtup the shiksa" in my everyday conversations. Oh well.
eh...i guess you could smerf it around like that, but it sounds funny...
the Klu in Kludge rhymes with Flu and the Klu in KKK.
the dge rhymes with the ge in Wage
"Smeg off, Rimmer." Dave Lister from Red Dwarf "The Nazis had pieces of flare that they made the Jews wear." Peter Gibbons from Office Space "What's the name of the cat?" "Annoying Customer." Randel Graves from Clerks showing off his people skills
Now that the site is being indexed by Google again, you can sort of do this yourself. For example: site:the-w.com "From: Toledo, OH" It won't really tell you how many users are from a city, but it'll give you an idea of how often it shows up.
