Bound to be a damn good match, and I think it's the first time they've mentioned that the two championship belts actually represent two distinct championships, so there's your answer. I think it would be fair to mention that this could just as easily be a total train wreck as well. ;-)
Also, I thought they did a pretty good job of getting across that ONLY the WWE title was at stake at Vengeance.

No doubt. Edge will have RVD set up for the Spear and Cena will come to the ring, stop to salute, and then interfere inthe match and cause a DQ. No way this ends clean.

Quite possible, except for the fact that ECW rules should mean No DQ. Of course, I've seen the refs counting for holds in the corner, and for countouts, so who knows?
This will get added at the end of each post you make, below an horizontal line. This should preferably be kept to a small enough size. | THIRTEEN

| #6 Posted on 2.7.06 2119.21 | Instant Rating: 0.99 | Am I thinking too far ahead in picturing a scenario where both men "win" (like a "double pin" for example), leading to RVD keeping the ECW belt, and Edge taking the WWE belt back to RAW?
Maybe not in this match specifically, but something like a Ladder Match where both belts are suspended, both participants climb the ladder at the same time, and each comes down with an individual belt? (How interesting could it be if this happened, and they came down with the "wrong" belts?)
Or am I giving WWE Creative too much credit in hoping that they'll actually come up with something interesting? | ekedolphin

| #7 Posted on 2.7.06 2215.42 | Instant Rating: 2.29 | I'm not sure that exact scenario would occur (though it seems the most likely), but I can't imagine the WWE and ECW titles will continue to be held by the same man indefinitely, anyway. Nor do I think they're likely to be officially unified, unless the ECW experiment bombs. But I must say I love the idea of the participants both grabbing the "wrong" belt, so say Edge for example would become ECW World Champion while RVD retains the WWE Title. (No sarcasm intended, I honestly love the idea!) Heck, while we're on a fantasy-booking kick here, maybe we'd make it a four- or six-way ladder match, with equal numbers of RAW and ECW participants. Let's say RVD, Edge, John Cena, Sabu, Kane and The Sandman. Of course I think it'd be damn cool if Sandman were to end up with one of those belts, but only if ECW really allows him to be himself. It'd certainly be more interesting than his "beating up future WrestleCrap inductees" gimmick he's doing right now (which is still fun, but I hope he doesn't do that for all 13 weeks of ECW's initial contract with Sci-Fi, that's all). And yeah, I just advocated giving a world title to someone whose actual wrestling skills are suspect at best. But I've long since turned in my smark membership card, so what'cha gonna do, sue me?
