There was some neat stuff in Unforgiven, a couple of nods to spots that happened in the past.
Remember summer 2000, when Stephanie thought Triple H was cheating on her with Trish while Kurt Angle was openly planning on stealing Stephanie away from Triple H? Triple H and Trish ended up in a famous 69 spot with both their faces in each other's crotches. Nice to see that spot again, though Christian and Chris Jericho doing it says nothing gay to me. Nope, nothing gay at all.
An even better spot at Unforgiven was very old school and we popped when we saw it. The finish to the Shawn Michaels and Randy Orton match was a mirror of how Randy Savage beat Tito Santana in 1986 for the Intercontinental Title at the Boston Garden. A shot to the face with a foreign object while the heel is being back suplexed from the apron to the ring. Of course, Orton used brass knuckles, while Savage used the classic 'forgen object' (something wrapped in a lot of white tape). Good stuff.
Didn't care for Goldberg beating Triple H. I suspected Triple H's endless title reign was because he was taking square aim at eclipsing Bruno Sammartino's seven year WWWF Title reign. Now he'll have to start all over again.
Those who don't know their wrestling history are doomed to not notice when it's repeated.

Another great show, lots of action and good progression. Lashely and Dreamer was okay and the crowd was into it, really just a showcase for Bobby until his next title match. The KO match was a little sloppy and probably the low point of the show.
