|Welcome home, men of the 2nd Bn, 127th Infantry, 32d "Red Arrow" Brigade, WI Army National Guard! Job well done in Iraq!
Former Packers (and Indy/TB) backup QB & punter Blair Kiel has passed away at the age of 50.
Packer fans will remember his December 9, 1990 game against Seattle at County Stadium in Milwaukee, where he relieved an injured Anthony Dilweg and ALMOST rallied the team back to victory.
RIP to a good guy who never got his due as a pretty good QB.

Family lore said that my parents almost named me Blair (so I'd have been Blair Coale), so I would have had a similar name to him and would have been funny as I almost went to Notre Dame too.
I really only remember his college career, not his NFL stint.

I haven't verified this yet, but there's a quote I heard today from Stoops after that season that goes something like: "We are 8-4 and no one can take that from us." except, apparently, the NCAA can.
