Who should be looked upon more favorably? Who is more at fault for the TNA ratings being in the toilet? These two will be forever linked. This is going to sound far fetched, but I think you can honestly compare Eric Bischoff to Joe Namath. Both fought the established thought of one league (or fed) was superior to the other. Both seemingly had basically 2 or 3 good years. ( Namath had 1969, and 1972, Bischoff late 96-early 98). Both struggled to rekindle previous success (Namath with the Rams, Bischoff in TNA). Namath rode Super Bowl 3 into the Hall of Fame, despite throwing 47 more interceptions than TDs and barely completely 50% of his passes. Bischoff has lived off the success of the NWO and really hasn't done much successful since. Thoughts?
I think with Russo, his heart was in the right place. He wanted to push younger stars, make the company succeed, etc.. He just had retarded means to get there sometimes.
Bischoff, on the other hand, could care less.. just wants to make money and be able to suck off C-level celebrities..

Russo always pushed older stars after he left the WWE. He fubar'd so many promising young wrestlers careers. Ask Samoa Joe about that.
