Who should be looked upon more favorably? Who is more at fault for the TNA ratings being in the toilet? These two will be forever linked. This is going to sound far fetched, but I think you can honestly compare Eric Bischoff to Joe Namath. Both fought the established thought of one league (or fed) was superior to the other. Both seemingly had basically 2 or 3 good years. ( Namath had 1969, and 1972, Bischoff late 96-early 98). Both struggled to rekindle previous success (Namath with the Rams, Bischoff in TNA). Namath rode Super Bowl 3 into the Hall of Fame, despite throwing 47 more interceptions than TDs and barely completely 50% of his passes. Bischoff has lived off the success of the NWO and really hasn't done much successful since. Thoughts?
I heard his dark promo in front of the live crowd was... not as good. I think he'll be on a fine line between horrible and fantastic... he needs to be on top when it comes to giving promos in front of a live crowd.
