The size of the belt represents the importance of the title and the prestige as it represents the unified WCW/WWF/ECW (remember Triple H beat Rhyno when H was the champ) undispuited title. | Iron Mike Sharpe

| #24 Posted on 29.7.02 0931.55 | I'm glad they went a little bigger on the Undisputed title, but I still like the '98-'02 WWF belt better.
The IC belt REALLY needs a redesign. The old one (80's-'98) was my favorite in all of wrestling. When they brought out that new one after WM 14 I was very disapointed. It's just so little and unimportant looking. I mean, the freakin' European belt was bigger.
And to whoever siad the tag belts need a redesign: NO THEY DON'T! For one, they are awesome looking belts that can not be improved upon. And two, those belts are a link to past great WWF tag teams. That design has been around since the mid 80's (give or take a few changes from silver to gold and red letters to black then back again). It's cool that at least one title has not changed throughout the years.
And I really hope they bring back the original hardcore title after Bradshaw loses it. It was such a cool idea to use the smashed up old 80's WWF title. It really set it apart from anything else in wrestling.
Yes, indeed I can dig it, Sucker. | Grimis

Now if we can only work the AWA and UWF World Titles into the lineage... | JHCA13

| #27 Posted on 29.7.02 1856.14 | Instant Rating: 2.09 | So I guess we can say with authority that The Rock is the Unified WWF(E)/WCW/ECW Unified Undisputed World International Television Heavwyeight Wrestling Champion.
The television is from the ECW TV title that Rhyno never lost, therby losing it with the ECW World Title.
This is all rather superfluous, but quite amusing. | MSlander

| #28 Posted on 30.7.02 1103.44 | I thought the same thing! Perhaps we're on to something. It did look bigger, but in the same basic design as the first undisputed title belt.
My guess is they decided that the belt had better have the new logo on it, since it had been obvious in recent weeks from several close-ups of Undertaker with the belt that the old slightly smaller one still had the WWE logo.
That is something I wish WWE would do on their website - give us a close-up look at each of the belts - especially when they debut another one. They should show us what these guys are fighting for, for pete's sake.

| #29 Posted on 30.7.02 1119.13 | You know, talking about the Intercontinental and European belts....
Why doesn't some heel just invent a title, ala Ted Dibiase and his old Million Dollar belt? It's an instant heat-getter, and it creates an instant feud with the Inter/Euro unified champ (Benoit). Have somebody like, say, Christian suddenly come out claiming to be the South American champion (a nice little poke at Pat Patterson's "tournament win" in Rio de Janeiro) or even as the Antarctic champion. An African championship belt might be more suited to K-Kwik in NWA-TNA.

yeah, but then we're trapped in that same circle again. do we need another belt? they'd have to have a REALLY killer heel with a vast amount of heat to carry it, because if not, it will go the way of the euro...
