For an above-average center, that's not a bad price, especially considering what Eric Dampier (who is average at best) makes.
Luke Jackson CAN be that shooter if he's healthy, especially if he's open from the defense clogging Hughes and LeBron. But since he barely played last year before going on IR, he's still an unknown quantity.

If Jason Kidd continues to play the way he has for four-five more seasons then he is a Hall of Famer. But first ballot??? Kidd's career has been very inconsistent, which leads me to think next year won't be as magical.
