| #1 Posted on 5.3.03 2235.01 | First, they call Walter Young out of the endzone twice in OT against the Buckeyes, and tonight they screw the Illini out of a chance at OT and the Big Ten title. Can we please let the players decide the outcomes of these big games? Please?
Ok, now that that is out of my system, a little credit is due to the Badgers. They played well, we played poorly. But man, who makes a call like that with the title on the line?

They constantly miss easy calls (traveling, whats that?) and are too nit picky about other fouls. It goes both ways I know, but still you think they would make them read a rule book or something.

| #3 Posted on 6.3.03 1304.43 | You think your refs are bad? Actually, ACC refs are usually pretty decent (except when you play Duke.. but even that seems to be fading a bit), but in the last 6 or so Carolina games I've been very very frustrated. At our last two home games, while it was definately our team that decided the outcome (we didn't hit our freethrows against NC State, and lost, and we did against Georgia Tech and won), there have been calls or missed calls that would've changed the game. Both State and Tech should've gotten technicals in the second half, State for Hodge shoving McCants out of the way during a stoppage in play, and Tech for calling a timeout when they didn't have any left. And these were both home games.
Of course, last night playing at Wake, we recieved 23 fouls called against us (FOUR Offensive charges) compared to 12 against Wake. And only two of those fouls came in the last 3 minutes of play and neither of them were clock-stopping fouls. Grrrrr.

Not even the President of the United States knew what that was all about. It was as though the country were saying to its citizens, "In nonsense is strength."

Man, I'm just visiting this forum for the sake of curiosity, and I find this crap? Harris got clobbered by the Illini player. Had he not given him the full forearm, I could see it being a "play-on". But, you can't *not* call that foul.
Am I being a homer? Don't think so, but it may be debated.

Didn't see the UW-Illini game, but anytime Bucky goes over the FIBs...MWUUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
