| #1 Posted on 11.11.02 0952.54 | Instant Rating: 3.04 | They seemed to be hyping the hell out of Scott Steiner's "first WWE interview" during WWE programming all week long ... They even had commercials showing clips of the interview on "Velocity", a mere half hour or so before "Confidential" aired.
But when the show actually aired, no mention of Steiner or the interview was made; Okerlund gave no explanation, and the "Coming Next Week" preview has nothing about him either ... It's like the entire segment was hastily cut from the program.
Has there been any mention of this on the news sites? Was something deemed too "controversial" at the last minute, and the whole thing was scrapped?

| #6 Posted on 17.11.02 0752.32 | I saw the Steiner interview on Confidential. Nothing earth-shattering. They did have a 5-second clip of him on NWO Late Night.(shudders)
I found the piece on The Kurt Angle Classic much more interesting.

| #7 Posted on 17.11.02 1136.30 | You had to love the fact that they pulled out footage of the Rock during his WWF debut. I'm torn as to what was uglier - his hair or those streamers.
The Angle Classic stuff was good, but I found the road trip stuff with Bubba to be very well done considering the time constraints. DREAMER~! At the CRANE GAME~!
The Trish stuff was pretty much pointless, though.

| #9 Posted on 17.11.02 1524.13 | I recorded it last night and watched it earlier this morning. The Steiner segment SUCKED. It was kayfabe all the way. Plus, he didn't say anything about which show he would be on.
Luckily, the rest of the show was pretty good. I especially enjoyed the segments of Bubba Dudley on the road and the Angle classic stuff. | Teppan-Yaki

| #10 Posted on 17.11.02 1535.25 | Without going as far as to say I [heart] Tommy Dreamer... even if he's near his twilight, you could book him in a Mick Foley role easily. Hell, after watching TE3's segment with him... it's interesting to see a pep talk on the other end of the spectrum as compare to Trip.
The Bubba segment was way better than his golf segment last week. I didn't mind watching Steiner; I just wish they did a little bit about his transformation from Michigan wrestler into what he is today.
