| #1 Posted on 10.10.02 0957.00 | Turned on the baseball playoffs the other day, and there sat Scott Steiner. Why hasn't anybody said anything about him giving up on wrestling and managing the Minnesota Twins? He's cut back on the 'roids and the weightlifting but still looks pretty good. Also I don't ever recall his real name being Ron Gardenhire, but I guess I missed that bit of information.

In WCW's last days, BBP and Booker T always stood out from the rest in a "These guys belong in the WWF" sort of way.

| #7 Posted on 10.10.02 1845.09 | I was a total mark for Steiner in WCW. He seemd like a legitimate nutty asshole, and a serious threat. I dug that chain mail headress thing he wore, I loved when he almost snapped Lash LeRoux's head off in the recliner, his feuds with DDP & Booker T. One of my favorite moments was after he had been injured for a while, and had a reitrement cermony on Nitro. WCW put together a very nice video tribute, with lots of Steiner Bro. footage, and Scott was all choked up in his wheelchair. Well, it was WCW so it was a big old swerve - I think he beat the shit out of someone with the wheelchair. I had only themost morbid curiosity to see the NWO return to TV, and if Goldberg comes back, i hope to God he's on Raw, which I don't get (remind me to stay away from the internet when he does return, too), but I would mark the hell out for big poppa pump. I could go for fueds with Brock or HHH.

Steiner was cool when he wore a Michigan jacket and passed out Frankensteiners like they were Halloween candy. His roided-up freak "character" did nothing for me. I couldn't hear him cutting a 20 minute promo on WWE. Maybe in a high school gym, but nothing bigger.

Buck Woodward at 1wrestling.con - "Now, I have to wonder if Triple H isn't somehow throwing a block into any overtures to bring in Scott Steiner. While one could argue who the better in-ring performer is, there is little doubt that Steiner possesses the physique and "star quality" to stand toe to toe with Triple H in the eyes of the fans. There has to be a reason Scott Steiner has not been brought into the company. Could this be it? Could it be that some jealousy or insecurity is keeping Steiner from being hired?
Now granted, this is all speculation, but if it is true, then once again, ego is getting in the way of what would be best for the fans, and best for World Wrestling Entertainment."

Hey, Hogan has yet to come back from his hiatus! Could it be because of the ring attendants begging Vince to keep him out of WWE because they're tired of always having to pick up Hogan's sweaty shirts after he tears them off??

Physique, yes. "Star Quality"? If you are using the Hogan/Austin/Rock parameters, no. If you are using the Goldberg parameters, perhaps. Either way, he's not that big of a deal, people. Outside of the IWC, how many people still remember Scott Steiner? And what exactly would WWE do with another prima donna roid-monster (except give him a Championship Title )?

Those frankensteiners were SCARY man. The one he "pulled off" at WM IX was INSANE. Another inch or two lower and Scott would have been paralyzed.
I never had a great love for anyone by the name of Steiner.
But then - I started watching wrestling around WM VIII - were the Steiners better before then?

| #15 Posted on 11.10.02 1452.57 | I think Steiner in the WWE would rule! From what I've read he's a total jerk and seriously dangerous in the ring, but I always felt a Steiner/Rock feud would be the greatest. Steiner could come out and cut one of his promos on his freaks, and then rock could interrupt him and bust on him with some classic lines.. That could be gold!
Also, I would LOVE to see Midajah in the WWE. Especially if they used her like they used to use lita, as a second who would hit a big move once in awhile (Midajah = top rope splash, gets nice air + great impact).
Steiner is just a FREAK who has a great look and at one time was a great worker. He's getting old, so if they were to do anything with him it'd have to be now. I personally would LOVE to see him in the WWE, at least it'd be something different from the HHH/Taker show we have now. | Parts Unknown

Not only do I like his character, but I would like to see CRZ put MESHHEAD MUSHMOUTH back into the recaps. Of course, his return could also lead to situations that force CRZ to blow his top...like the time Steiner interfered in Chris Daniels' debut match and gave him the "F*** the fans clothesline."
