Yeah... I wasn't sure if it was done with Legos and stop-motion, or like the Zero 7 video (another classic). If you haven't seen "Destiny", it was more than likely done like the movie "Waking Life": film the video, then have people animate the scenes. It looks like that's how they did that video, and it's really good.

* It's the video for "Don't Cry" where Slash wrestles for the steering wheel with his girlfriend and the car flies off the end of the road...only for Slash to show up at the edge of the road, playing a guitar solo.

* As far as the guitar in the "November Rain" solo, the answer is obvious, especially when you notice the difference in size between the inside and outside of the church. The ceremony is obviously being held in Slash's TARDIS; he picked up his guitar from the Console Room on his way out.

The judges would also have accepted "The church is a tesseract" as an answer. :)

The last time I posted said pictures, I ended up being stalked until the Dane County Sheriff's Department got involved. Not to be nasty, but the Hinata avatar is the most you'll see from me (and *of* me) here.

not sure if this counts -

but if you have ever seen "The Wall" by Pink Floyd, the "Comfortably Numb" segment is one good damn piece of work...even drug free. THAT should have been on MTV.

I might as well add some more very good videos.

Verve "Bittersweet Symphony." (guy walking on a street)
Zero 7 "Destiny." (some sort of cartoon)
White Stripes "Fell In Love With A Girl." (Lego video)
Ashanti's "Foolish" is pretty cool too.

Thank God for MTV2!!!

Garden of Eden by GNR always had a certain appeal to me.
the whole idea of 'we have some time left after this other video..grab your stuff and lets go crazy' just rules.

Queen - Innuendo. the video is bizarre, in fact all the songs from that album have some weird video.

Right now I am a big mark for 'Tainted Love' by Marilyn Manson. Guess I am a sucker for female bodies in lingerie with rabbit heads
There are actually so many good videos out there *boggle*
Btw, what IS the uncensored Jeremy version?
I only know the one where the kid pulls out the gun in the end (though you dont see him hold it actually) and then blood smeared all over the rest of the kids (all frozen in terror)

"...And I use that to fuck them some place fairly uncomfortable."

I believe the uncensored Jeremy video much more clearly shows him committing suicide, either by putting the gun in his mouth or something to that effect. They mentioned how confusing the edited version is since you can't be sure if he killed himself, others, or both.

If you don't mind an overtly Christian message, I can recommend several hip-hop artists who are child friendly. I'd encourage you to check out Grits, T-Bone, tobyMac, The Cross Movement, Pigeon John, and Verbs.
