| #1 Posted on 25.12.03 1757.51 | Instant Rating: 2.59 | I'm going to go out and pick up an adapter tomorrow, preferably with a game as well. What should I pick up?
Considering I'm buying the adapter at the same time, I want a game that makes awesome use of the online experience. I'm more of a sports guy myself, but I'm open to almost anything else.
I've been reading reviews all day about different games. Madden of course was my first pick, but considering I already have 2001 and a demo version of 2003 comes with the adapter, I wasn't sure that's the way for me to go. Besides, isn't it just one-on-one? Hockey was my next choice, but the NHL 2004 (a series I LOVE) reviews didn't seem all too good, and the online mode didn't seem that big either. Then I figured basketball, and ESPN NBA Basketball seems like a quality game. For those of you who have it, how deep is the online play? Actually, that question goes to pretty much all games. I also naturally read up on Socom II and took that into consideration. I enjoy racing games also, checked up on Need For Speed and didn't like how they went from race cars to ghetto pimped out Fast and the Furious wheels. But again, it doesn't matter as long as the online play is worth it.
Right now I'm leaning on ESPN NBA Basketball, but again, I'm open to anything. I just need the best balance of not only being a quality game on its own, but also making good use of my newly purchased online adapter. Keep in mind another thing, I am *LOW ON CASH*, so I can only buy one. Suggestions?
