I debated putting this in Pro Wrestling, but ultimately it belongs in Print.

I have seen complaints about Punk, a wrestler, writing a comic intro. Where do those folks think he got the "it's clobbering time" bit for his intro?

In theory, Punk writing an intro is no different than getting a musician or novelist or anyone else from popular culture to try and boost sales.

The funny thing to me is that I have always seen Punk as more as a DC guy than a Marvel guy.

I don't think Punk is a DC guy or a Marvel guy. He's stated in Tweets in the past he's more interested in writers he likes than the characters. He's a fan of Scott Snyder in DC and Ed Brubaker, late of Marvel, for example.

Late last year, he liked the idea of working with Jill Thompson on a Marvel book. (robot6.comicbookresources.com)

Hey Raven wrote one of my favorite Spider-Man stories, so I've got no problem with wrestlers giving it a shot. I'd love to see what Punk or Daniels could come up with.

Stan Lee passed away today at the age of 95. A legend, he managed to become bigger than the industry he worked in. I'm not sure if I should even post it here, and not movies/tv. But yeah. Wow. Stan The Man is gone.
