Bad match, seemed flat, probably the masked mens fault - Briscoes win with a failed victory roll.
Eddie Edwards vs Homicide
First of many 4 star performances of the night - Homicide wins with a vertebreaker variant called the Cop Killa.
Hybrid Fighting Rules: Kyle O’Reilly vs Adam Cole
Another 4 star match, with a TON of holy shit rolled into it. Cole wins, despite losing what appeared to be 2 teeth.
Fit Finlay vs Michael Elgin
Elgin wins, in ANOTHER 4 star match, after getting his ass completely kicked by Finlay, and after the match, tells off Martini, and shakes Finlay's hand
After intermission, Mike Bennet is out to insult the crowd, tells them, that while he can wrestl anyone, he wont, if it isnt a title match, boston rules, new york sucks, and he will just make out with maria instead.
Mondo interrupts, says he will whip out his junk and piss on boston, cause hes from New York, and after he Fights Bennet, he will Fuck Maria -- setting up
Mike Mondo vs Mike Bennett
Mondo wins, good quick match
ROH TV Title Match: Roderick Strong vs Tommaso Ciampa vs Jay Lethal
EXCELLENT match from these three, with both managers, working for Strong, as both Ciampa, and lethal get screwed. Strong retains.
ROH World Tag Team Title Match: Wrestling’s Greatest Tag Team vs All Night Express
New tag champs, ANX - WGTT play cocky heel arrogant team, and get burnt by it. Best tag match of the year.
ROH World Title Match, Anything Goes: Kevin Steen vs Davey Richards
Steen wins, after mulpitple ref bumps, railroad spike to the groin, followed by the package piledriver.
Post match, Steen grabs the mic, and cuts the promo of the year.
Anyone who is a wrestling fan, needs to spend the $15 and buy this PPV.
I remembered the last heel vs. heel match on PPV (Jericho/Christian on RAW months ago aside) was Angle vs. Benoit on Unforgiven 2002. While a good match, the crowd just couldn't figure out who to root for, and found themselves divided.
