The Flaming Lips with Stardeath and White Dwarf - Borderline (Madonna)

This is making me feel all warm and gushy inside.

Both are YouTube links, and YouTube is apparently down for maintenance.

StaggerLee linked to http://www.youtube.com/v/AO9dbmJ_2zU , which I saw earlier in the day was "Hurt" by Johnny Cash.

Leroy linked to http://www.youtube.com/v/KrpFjTLQ6f4 , which Google tells me is "This Charming Man" by Stars. Perhaps that makes sense to you. A wikipedia search says Stars is some Canadian indie-pop band I've never heard of.

Easily the best cover of the decade is Franz Ferdinand's Take Me Out*.

* Led Zeppelin - Trampled Under Foot

The best cover of the decade is Willie Nelson's cover of Cyndi Lauper's "Time After Time". It shouldn't work but goddamn it does. (Sadly, this is nowhere on Youtube...)

Yes, I just did a Louie Louie show a few weeks ago, but I needed some inspiration for a theme this week - and it didn't help that I spent my Memorial Day watching reruns of Deadliest Catch. NonDescript, Tuesdays, 9am-10am PDT (12pm-1pm EDT)
