Wow. Afleet Alex just pissed on this field today. Jeremy Rose was so patient and the horse just exploded by the field, winning by 7 lengths. Just wow.

Had half a buck on Afleet Alex, so it was a profitable day. However, when Afleet Alex, Giacommo and Southern Africa were battling at the top of the stretch my hopes were rising as I had those 3 boxed in trifectas and covered in exactas. For a brief moment it looked like it could have been a real good day instead of just a good day. Of course, dropping from 3-2 to even money in the last 45 minutes before post didn't help much either.

I'm glad I didn't watch or order it, mostly because everyone I would want to win didn't win. Couture losing saddens me greatly (huge new contract notwithstanding), the entertaining duo of Leben and Jardine both got destroyed, and even Maia lost.
