Did anyone catch Team Extremely crappy outfit last night, it looked like they went into good ol' Double J, That's Double J J-e-double F- J-A- double R - E - double T- closet to get those jackets out.

they had jacket that said Believe IN Yourself?? I think it's hard to tell

It's so funny that I think LIta "in" wasn't flashing so we just saw "Believe yourself" .

I would really like a psychological report on the people that are actually still digging these people. Actually I had the misfortune of stumbling in a few Team Extreme pages. And these fans are the most zombie-like fans in wrestling. Actually I think their demographic has to be some strange teenage girls who have self-confidence problems and they need the Hardyz, and their psudo-lesbian sidekick to tell them to "believe in themselves".

Well someone should tell Lita to stop "believing" she could do a damn hurricrana before she kills herself or someone else like last night. I guess the Hardyz also didn't take their moto to mind when they tanked the split angle and went back together because the didn't "believe in themselves" to get over on there own.

Well they are tired and boring and lame as hell and no one seems to care about them if your not a 16 year old confused teenage girl. How far have they fallen, I used to be a big fan of them (well atleast Jeff and Lita) but now it's just sad...

Well atleast they have cool new jackets, but next time Lita make sure you "in" is showing.

Good attitude, man. What the hell is wrong with being a role-model for teenagers? What the hell is wrong with being a fan of any wrestler, including the Hardyz? To each his own, right?
I enjoy their matches, and I'm a 23 year old man. Do I fit your "demographic?" I don't think so.
Jeez, just watch the show, root for Test or whoever you like, and let the teenage girls cheer for the Hardyz. When all of us old, bitter smarks die off, the WWF will need younger fans.

I think the thread I started says it all about Lita, but I like the Hardyz too. And for the record I'm a 24 year old man who does not seem them as anything remotely resembling role models.

The fact is that Lita is not the sloppy worker that the net parrots seem to think she is, and Jeff is acting lessons away from being the next Mick Foley. Matt is a jack of all trades, he's passable at a lot of things but he excels at nothing.

I too am a 26 year old fan of the Hardyz and Lita, I like their style and their fearlessness. I like the fact that had a dream to become pro wrestlers and they followed it. They didnt become some smark who types on his pc how crappy someone is. They are WWF superstars, well paid, living the dream every night. So i guess their motto means something dont it? Sometimes I think we net fans get a little carried away when we talk about these guys. While we talk about it and write about it, theyre actually out there doing it. Who are we to tell them they suck at what they do? Most of us on the web couldnt do a hurricanrana if our lives depended on it.

Not that I completely dis-agree with what you're saying, but as far as "who are we?" We are the fans. We're the ones that they're supposed to be entertaining, that's they're job. If we like what they do, we say it, and if we don't, we say so as well. Wrestlers deserve respect, but they are not Gods. They have to answer to their "customers"
the same as anyone else at any job does.

If you go to a fast food place and the kid working drops your food on the floor because he's sloppy, would you say "Who are we to complain, he's the one living the dream"?

Ah, the old "we can't do it so who are we to complain" argument. Now let me preface this by saying I do like the Hardyz. But to say that because I haven't gone to wrestling school and I have chosen not to pursue professional wrestling as a living makes me somehow less capable of pointing out that Lita did the single worst rana in the history of wrestling last night is absurd.

The way I see it, there are 1 major difference between what they do and what most of us do in our day to day life. They happen to have chosen a job that demands they work in view of and for the approval of the public. You're right, I couldn't do a hurricanrana if my life depended on it. Well maybe I could, but that's not the point. I do know I could not scale a 15 foot ladder, and choose to jump off it knowing I'm going to land on my back and crash through a table. However, I seriously doubt that Lita or the Hardyz could do most of our jobs. Jobs which have also taken a great deal of specialized training, dedication, and effort. (To those who are currently working as Wal-Mart greeters or some other mindless job, just accept my point and move on!) The only difference is that in my case I have 3 people who view my work and are thus able to criticize and critique my efforts. These wrestlers have chosen to be in the public eye for their work, just like singers and actors. And because of that, they have millions of people who are in position to cast judgment positive or negative upon their efforts. And that is part of doing this sort of job. In return for their 6 and 7 figure salaries, thousands of loving fans in every town, adulation, fame and glory, they have to suffer the slings and arrows of a million critics. So knowing that, we all have basically come to the underlying assumption that no, few if any of us could do what they do. But we are in a position to know if others are doing what they do better, or if they are not doing the things they do as well as they have done. And this to me is not an insult or in some way hating them and being jealous for their success which we do not have in any sort of equal amount. (except CRZ of course, who is the idol of millions and beloved by all because of his net writing!) We are simply playing our part in the grand scheme of things.

Jeff is about two or three burnt spoons from being the next Brian Pillman. When you weigh a buck fifty and you suddenly drop 20 lbs. something's awry...

It doesn't take a parrot to see that Rico Constantino, a 45 year old midget, had to prevent You-Know-Who from killing herself.

Matt throws really great punches, and is probably the best worker ever to come out of OMEGA. His tag stuff with Shane Helms down in NC was really freakin' great. But, see, he doesn't make with the flippy-flippy or the huge fake ta-tas....

Matt is the Hardy that should be going places.
He seems dedicated, seems to try hard, is built and doesn't just rely on moves that get a pop but shorten your life.

Saying that, I must admit that Jeff is sick, demented and will die soon, but damnit some of his shit is still amazing.

Lita..discussed in another thread.

So..their gimmick right now seems kinda lame and out there but I like Team X-treme.
As for fans? Yeah I think they have alot of young girls that would turn into goth-zombies if it wasn't for the bright colors that the hardyz wear. I think they have a huge appeal to those types because of the 'do your own thing' feel they seem to have.
I am sure many others enjoy them too, as is already proven by most of the above.

Laying off the drugs might be a good start for him, as well.

Seriously, if he drops any more weight he's gonna look like he did back when he was jobbing to Razor Ramone on taped shows...

did billy tell jeff to suck it?

did the ref warn him not to suck it, because they have a match?

does anyone care lita was picked last in the draft?

does that mean the women will wrestle on raw?

Eh ...

I'm a firm believer that The Hardyz themselves are somewhat choiceless in staying as a unit, no matter how stale they are.

As someone pointed out, Matt'z probably the best thing to come from OMEGA. He'z technically sound, he putz together the general ideaz for most of the Hardyz matchez, and he seemz to actually understand a bit about ring psychology. He is well built (well, compared to Jeff, anyways), and personally, I think he'z the more talented of the two brotherz, just because he's better rounded for the business. The catch? Well, he's just kinda bland.

Now, enter Jeff. Jeff's the high-flyer, the risk-taker, the bump machine, the 'Holy Shit Highlight Reel' waiting to happen every match ... There's not a lot of psychology or chain wrestling or reasoning in his style - he's just pretty crash and burn. However, those squealz from the ladiez are what make him the necessary yang to Matt'z yin. Jeff'z the personality, and that's why I don't think he and Matt will ever be able to completely split.

See, use the Rockerz as an example. In this case, Matt would end up getting the Jannetty end of the stick, because he's not the pretty boy. This, by default, putz Jeff in the HBK role, though in all honesty, Jeff just ain't half the wrestler HBK was. Yeah, he'z a good bump machine, but let's face it - if the Hardyz split, it would be harder than hell to get even one of them over (which is probably the best the WWF was hoping for out of the Rockerz' split, anyways).

As for Lita ... Well, I still think she's got skillz , but letz face it, she'z been sloppy as all hell lately. She totally dropped Trish on her head during a failed Hoochiecanrana a few showz ago, and she nearly killed herself going after Rico on Monday (though the guy getz MAD PROPZ for selling the whole deal anywayz). She needz to step up her performancez with a quickness.

Well the Hardyz started out with a BANG, but now they kind of are boring. Pairing Lita with them is cool, but still they are stale now. The "killmyself-currana" is predictable, and sloppy to say the least. I thought that the during the time off, Lita was supposed to work on her moves? She has gotten sloppier than she ever was before. I predict less ring time for her in the near future.

But what to do with Team Extreme? Well with the Black Light clothing, I guess they are going for the teen market, maybe they will be the "Teen group", to do PR with the Nickelodeon crowd and do Hasbro commercials. I actually see Jeff getting in with the cruisers, Matt being Jobber to the stars and Lita just coming out with Matt unless she gets her act together in the ring. I actually see some upside to Matt if he gets some personality.

personality... blah blah, Holy Shit... blah, blah, nothing to do....

All the Hardy talk seems to be leading to one solution that just might make everyone happy "Sugar" Shane is already there, he's worked with the Hardy's extensively and could conceivably make a good teammate. Hurricane and the Hardys are trapped in stale gimmick Hell and are fading fast (which is truly a DAMN shame because I really dig Team Extreme and the Hurricane). The solution is clear. Write some new teenybopper music, dust off the day-glo 'fits and practice the dance moves.

"Sugar" Shane, "Jumpin" Jeff, and "Marvelous" Matt (or any cheesy, boy band names) should join up and re-form 3-count! Idols for the kids, (hopefully) something to get the Hardy's jazzed and back into being WWF workers (and outta burnout city!), and a new, improved 3-count for us all to dig! Lita re packaged as Eddy's new squeez (continue the story...) Everyone wins!

There are no facts-only observational postulates in an endlessly regenerative hodgepodge of predictions. Consensus reality requires a fixed frame of reference. In a multilevel, infinite universe, there can be no fixity; thus, no absolute consensus reality. In a relativistic universe, it appears impossible to test the reliability of any expert by requiring him to agree with another expert. Both can be correct, each in his own inertial system.
