Re-read that. I didn't say "America is a shiny happy land of rainbows and holding hands among all the people of the world." We've certainly had our problems with racism and balkanization, same as every country. I just pointed out the difference in our histories, and the different attitudes toward immigration America has from Europe because of it. During Slavery we were a multi-ethnic nation of immigrants. During Columbus - uh, we weren't even a nation then. That was you guys fucking everything up to start with.
