Even though we didn't get any Sean O'Haire on Smackdown, at least we did get some on Velocity. And he actually got to work a proper match. Even though Funaki wasn't exactly an even matchup for him, it was still fun to get to watch the boy move.
When he gets into the ring wearing the coat, does that count as an "upskirt" sighting?
Crash's new entrance video!! Funniest entrance video I can think of! In case you didn't see it, CubsFan has a good description in his recap (thecubsfan.com):
TheCubsFan wrote...Okay, you know Matt's entrance? Crash has a similar log-in screen - actually a Netscape Navigator "search for" page in black and white, no password box. He types "Crsah", then notices and fixes to "Crash". We go to Connecting...10%...30%...beep beep system failure beep beep hit his music. That is the new greatest entrance of all time.
And by the way, speaking of Smackdown (which Velocity was): I seem to be the only one who thought Stephanie was wonderful behind Vince's back, while they were watching the (very well photographed) Mr. America entrance. Vince was maintaining that it was an impostor & Stephanie was smirking behind his back. Vince turned to look at her & she switched to an "I don't know anything about it" look. As soon as he turned back to the TV, she went back to smirking. Very nice!
I'd been thinking that Heat had been getting better in the last several months, & now this seemed to be a much better-than-usual Velocity. Even the jobbers did some nice work.
This was the first PPV we've bought since Wrestlemania. Yeah, bad finances are one reason we've foregone our monthly 34.95 addition to the cable bill, but bad cards had more to do with it--I mean, an all-Raw PPV? Good gravy.
