So, last we saw the show, we saw George and Nina dead and ghost Eve going back to kill herself. I wish I could tell you a lot happened and somethings did, but not a lot. The Vampire from the other house, Hal, moved in with Tom and Annie after his Ghost/Werewolf tag team got jobbed out to natural death. After that, it was a series of mistrust adventures between Tom and Hal that eventually to a tight bond and Ghost Eve being on the TV telling people to kill her. Last episode, some random Scottish chick, Hal liked got killed by Vampires and got turned into a ghost. Then Even showed Annie the future. All the while the Old Ones or Old played by Mycroft Holmes from BBC's far superior Sherlock as Mr.Snow. And this leads to the most bizarre finale, I have ever seen and probably my last episode.
This episode starts with Hal explain to Scottish Ghost, well she is a ghost. The Vampire lackey, Culter, who was trying to get humans to hate Werewolves epically fails in front of Snow and gets thrown out. The gang comes back together where Annie tells them about the future and says she won't kill Eve, but you know if anyone else would like too, why not. Tom decides to say fuck this and shows them he has been building a giant bomb all season and is will go out with a bang taking all the vamps with him. They actually go with this plan.
The rest of the episode is Tom being told to back off by a black man who is a werewolf and guard dog to the vamps. Hal gets tempted by Snow to join the fold. While Annie jedi trains Scottish ghost. Yes, they do make a Skywalker reference. Culter arrives at the house, gets fired by breaking the let me in the house and almost kills Eve to Annie stakes him. This all leads to Tom for some reason giving Eve to the vamps in order to be her protector. Hal then comes in with the bomb to end it, but Snow says some ancient vampire shit and he falls in line. And this is where shit gets insane. Annie and Scottish Ghost comes in says in direct quotes "Give me back my fucking baby." Where she and the other ghost starting throwing vamps around while Hal joins the fight. Tom and the black guy fight outside and Scottish vamp teleports Hal away when Annie is given the choice to raise the child. Annie chooses to kill the vampires including Snow with the baby still inside. Annie sees the door goes through and baby Eve is there as well as older Eve who disappears ala Back to the Future and Vampire dominated future is gone, we think. Annie goes to a door where all the other actors who bailed on this series are in, but we never see. Back home, there is zero mourning over all of this. Instead we get Hal being tied up and going back to blood rehab with the other Tom and Scottish Ghost.
Oh did I mention the Men in Black and there giant Raiders of the Last Ark room with supernatural evidence. I figure it will go into next season as the Big Bad if there is a next season. I have to say I will probably not be joining in. Minus the fact that I have a girl coming on the way even if I didn't I would find the idea to murder a child to somehow stop the end of the world, a bit much. I also have to question if just by killing the Old One is going to stop any of this. This season has been an utter disaster of trying to somehow reboot the series while keeping parts of the old series in tact.
Without Eve and Annie, season 5 is going to be a fresh start and while they might be appealing to some I view it liken it to this. Imagine Star Trek: TNG not only killing Tash in season 2, but in the next few seasons killing the rest of the crew and keeping only Wesley, Dr.Crusher's replacement and Miles and Kiako O'Brien. This is pretty much what happened to this series. All characters filtered in through out the series. While I love Miles, that is why they did DS9. If they even had a hint all these cast changes were going to happen, they should have just ended the series with Mitchell going down killing all the Old Ones and everyone else doing their own thing. Have Tom stumble upon Hal's group and go from there. There was zero need to wipe out all this entire cast just to keep it going. I get a feeling next season will the best last season unless the Brits find this as being ballsy which you know they have 11 Doctors and some of them have died in rather worst situations, so who knows.

I'm starting to see Eko as sort of a Qui-Gon Jinn/Obi-Wan figure. Not that he's a mentor, but in that he knows better and walks the straight path (or tries as best he can), and being a priest, doesn't hold judgment.
