I know there are more examples out there, but the most egregious one to me was breaking up the Hart Dynasty and saddling Tyson Kidd with bodyguard Jackson Andrews, only to later decide that Andrews isn't ready, thus sinking Andrews, Kidd, AND Smith all in one shot. I wish the E would practice a little more foresight.

He also calls it a "list of those released by WWE so far today" (emphasis mine). This means that on the Observer board, there will be people who are expecting more cuts to come today. On tonight's Observer Radio, Meltzer will complain about these people because he never said there would be more cuts and he won't know where they got this foolish idea from. | jwrestle

If its not one thing, its another. I hate to reference being to a WWE try out with about 16 guys but I have been. They're looking for timing precision, being able to work, & a move set not taken from anyone on the current roster. Seriously, I can understand cutting people but you through them on freaking TV & they weren't ready. Not everyone can do this or I'd walk in to FCW today, yes absurd analogy, tell Steve Kern to give me the work up & run down to be in the WWE tomorrow. Not going to happen. When PSA's on the DVD, "Don't try this at home", its true because you need to have years in to have the confidence & ability to perform in front of massive crowds. If not, you melt or other people think you melt. No matter the case, I agree w/ It's False again. Lots of bad thinking right now. Ugh.

| #8 Posted on 14.6.11 1019.31 | Instant Rating: 9.72 | We'll never get closure on it now, but I like to think that Tarver's "guy briefly in the background of shots" gimmick had him on camera for exactly 1.9 seconds each time, as long as it would take him to knock out each other person in the shot.
If nothing else - and probably, there's nothing else - that shot of Tarver, with his ridculously awesome homemade facemask merchandise that they should have tried marketing, standing at the guardrail after Barrett arrived during Cena/Punk was the most exciting, "!!!?!" moment of the Nexus angle, which was in turn the most exciting angle in wrestling of the last decade, which transitively makes Michael Tarver the most exciting individual in the last ten years of his industry. So he's got that going for him. Maybe he can set up shop on Etsy selling T masks.
I still want to live in an alternate world where he was "Million Dollar Mike" DiBiase, Virgil's secret son raised to believe he was the child of DiBiase and Sweet Sapphire because Ted Sr. was so disappointed in his real son. |
