I'm really surprised there was never a thread on this. This has to be the most unusual story I've ever read.

You got a one player murdering another player in brutal fashion. You have the murdered player (Patrick Dennehy) bringing this concern to his coach. Which the Coach (Dave Bliss) admitted he knew something was wrong in a secretly tapped conversation with staff and players... Oh which by the way told he everyone to lie and paint the slain player as a drug dealer to cover up that Dennehy received money from the University to pay for tuition.

Isn't Baylor in Waco, boy does that city have a stigma to it.

Me fail English? That's unpossible

This story is just surreal...I think the most accurate comment I heard on it all summer was that if you wrote this as a movie and tried to sell it to Hollywood, you'd be shot down for not being realistic...short of Dave Bliss being revealed to be a pod from the planet Ogo, I don't think anything about this case would surprise me at this point.

I knew Phoenix would lose all sense of sanity once Jerry Colangelo took off to Toronto, but I had no idea the bad moves would start so soon.
