During the last few weeks of Smackdown, I've noticed that Bautista hasn't wrestled that much. He doesn't even wrestle on Velocity. I don't think he's hurt.

Are they going to give him some sort of push, or is he in the doghouse?

I think they're just trying to figure out what the hell to do with him. No one cared about the breakup with D-Von.

Here's something to think about - back when he and Brock were both in OVW - he was where Brock is now.

Paul Heyman is the head booker for SD so I'm sure he can find something for Batista to do.

i'm starting to dig him as a monster power move guy, bus his legs rhyme with suck, I just can't get past his goldberg-esque bird legs.

his legs look all shades of puny, every last shade...

i have to give him props on his mean faces. he has a good heal face, something brock has to pick up on.

I say that he's getting Cena-ized: getting his big push pushed back. Also, trade him to RAW so that SHELTON F'N BENJAMIN can be on my TV screen with BROCK F'N LESNAR. Minnesota WRECKING CREW anybody>???

When the Rev. D-Von/Deacon Bautista angle first started, I was all for it. I thought it was a cool gimmick perfectly suited for D-Von and I think they couldve done more with it before they ended it so fast.

Speaking of which, why DID they end it so fast?

And on a side note, I dont remember Goldberg's legs being all that puny.

Because the audience didn't care?

towards the end of WCW when i was really watching, I noticed that goldbergs legs, his calfs really, were really really tiny. for a more recent comparison, look at Scott Hall's legs this year. He used to have nice quad and calf development back when he was Razor.

While I agree Hall's proportions are not quite the same as they used to be - I think it's mostly that his upper body is bulkier than it used to be. He's getting on in years, and fat tends to collect in a man's upper body first. He could also be losing muscle in his legs, too, I admit.

Bautista's not getting much airtime right now and it doesn't help that he's on a Smackdown show that's filled to the brim with talent. If you move the guy to Raw, you can easily make him a monster heel or face. Then again, I shudder to think how:

1) Brian Gerwitz can turn him into a comedy figure.

2) Triple H can either make him look like an inept heel or he can use him as another face to squash cleanly.

Because the audience didn't care?

Of course they didnt, no one cares about a gimmick change right away. What I'm saying is that they shouldve given it more time and I think it couldve gone well for them.

Well, they would have had to come up with something more creative for him to do than the Brother Love 2002 type direction it appeared to be going in.

Look, man... your soul... I'm going to totally floss with it and chew on your spirit. I read that somewhere. But I'll do it.

I'm still holding out hope that D'Von ends up on Raw and pops out of nowhere to help give Buh Buh a 3D so I can mark out like a little bitch.

Face it the preacher gimmick has to go. He needs to go back to his roots as a garbage brawler/tagteam worker.

I agree that D-Von's better as a tag worker, but I don't wanna see Buh Buh with him anymore. Don't get me wrong, they're one of my favorite teams ever. But, IMHO, Buh Buh's one of the few guys whom the split has discernibly helped. He's really made a niche for himself, carved out a spot as a player. He's far more entertaining in his current style, and I'd rather not see him turn into Road Dogg - a guy who becomes dependent on memories of former tag team greatness in order to get over.

They gave a hilarious reason on Smackdown saying Bautista is "missing." Steph then told D-Von that if Bautista isn't found, D-Von will be fired.

Take that for what it's worth.

I wonder if D-Von will find Bautista in Cleveland (if you get the reference, then I apologize).

But will he be sailing along when D-Von finds him? Since the way they explained it on SD was that Bautista was signed to D-Von not SD, and then was fired, he probably turns up on RAW, or even as interference in the stip-match.

Thank you Mr. Wanz for the check, now you get an AWA World Title Reign. But be careful, my boy Greg is a heat machine.

You're right, BuhBuh is *much* better off teaming up with Spike and/or Trish every week. Sure has broken out.
