| #1 Posted on 12.1.12 1332.51 | I recently started Season 2 of Battlestar Galactica on DVDs, and am looking to buy Seasons 3 and 4. I've noticed that some places sell Seasons 3.5 and 4.5. Does anyone know what these are? Is it the regular episodes with more extras, or are there extra episodes?
I'm trying to figure out which to buy, but haven't found any guidance online. I'm also reluctant to dig too deeply for fear of uncovering spoilers. Thanks for any guidance.| Promote this thread! | | CRZ

So...eventually you'll need to see 3.5, but after you see 3, and don't watch 4 until you've seen 3.5.
Actually, Wikipedia's spoiler free list shows a 2.5 but not a 3.5. Here, this might make more sense:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Battlestar_Galactica_%282004_TV_series%29_episodes#Series_overview
Or, just buy it through Amazon through us - Season 2.5 is under $10 used! (The W at Amazon) Season 3 is a bit over $10 Season 4.0 is about $16 used Season 4.5 is about $17 used Finally, The Plan is easily available under $5.

If you're watching Season 2 on DVD, make sure you know where you are before moving on to Season 3. The Season 2 mid-season finale (last ep on Season 2.0 box set) was "Pegasus" and the actual season finale (last ep on Season 2.5 box set) was "Lay Down Your Burdens, Pt. 2."
Be thankful you don't have to suffer through the breaks like those who watched the eps as they aired did.

That's how I've been learnin' about them. I believe all the mini-movies or other non-main series stuff is on streaming too. If not, it's available through Netflix on discs.

Yeah, but they'd be much more expensive than piecing together what he still needed buying used from the links I previously put up. (Over $100)

true. I was more pointing out for others reading the thread that you can get the whole series in one fell swoop (albeit an expensive one).

I guess it's cool to still have a little bit of BSG left to watch, so I'll always tease myself with watching it every now and then. Did feel a little too unnecessary.
Is rent, not buy, an option for that? |
