You've got to love how the WWE knows how to strike when the iron is hot. The talk of the wrestling industry is the three NXT girls who finally made their main roster debuts. Cesaro has been tearing it up on RAW the last three weeks, including an incredible performance against the underrated Rusev, who seems to be getting his footing back after being severely mishandled in the last few months. And last month, when I was at Money In The Bank, literally the only person on the card that every single person in the arena was into was Dean Ambrose. And not a one of those people are on this show!
WWE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH Seth Rollins (C) VS Brock Lesnar I buy the "spoiler". The Demon Kane returns and attacks Brock Lesnar (who wins by DQ but Seth retains) - and, after the match, removes his mask to reveal The Undertaker. Taker/Lesnar II at Summerslam. (I have no idea who Seth fights.)
UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH John Cena (C) VS Kevin Owens I usually am super pessimistic about Cena matches (the results at least - he's pretty much guaranteed to have a good match these days as long as it doesn't involve color coordinated flashing lights), but I really think they know what they've got with Owens and will do the right thing here. Besides, he's got to lose the belt sometime. Kevin Owens is the new United States champion - in a perfect world, he feuds with Cesaro next. (Maybe Cena fights Seth at Summerslam?)
Roman Reigns VS Bray Wyatt Bray Wyatt needs a win over someone with more cred than Ryback desperately and I can't imagine this feud is over already. Bray wins by doing something "spooky" and then loses in the rematch next month.
Randy Orton VS Sheamus The fans will be treated to this showdown of the two most pointless and boring wrestlers on the roster. At least they're facing each other and not dragging down seperate matches. Remember - there was no room for Neville, Sasha Banks, Cesaro, Rusev, Charlotte, Stardust, Paige, Damien Sandow, Becky Lynch or Dean Ambrose, but there's time for these two to fight yet again, despite no crowd anywhere ever being into it. I don't understand why either of these two are even still on the roster. Randy Orton wins because I have to pick somebody.
WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH The Prime Time Players (C) VS The New Day The New Day were forced to fight a 2 on 2 match at Money In The Bank - they'll be back to full strength here and should win their belts back.
WADE BARRETT MEMORIAL PRESHOW MINSTREL SHOW King Barrett VS R-Truth This will be the SEVENTH one-on-one match between these two since King of the Ring and I'm sure it will be as exciting and not-at-all racist as the previous. Let's say R-Truth wins, shucks and jives around the ring while Vince McMahon pisses his pants in the back and Barrett goes away for a while - hopefully to return by delivering some bad news and - this is crazy but bear with me - doing the thing that got him over in the first place.
Seth (via shenanigans, Deadman or otherwise) Owens Roman Sheamus PTP King Barrett
Only 6 matches and one is on the pre-show? I predict we get something with Dean, Cesaro, Neville-Stardust, the Bellas or Rusev to fill time...speaking of:

I can't imagine some sort of continuation of the Rusev/Cesaro/Owens feud isn't coming at SummerSlam, as well as the women's division exploding (3-on-3-on-3 match??)...this just proves that Battleground is really a throwaway PPV/glorified RAW. I will probably just watch Rollins/Lesnar & Cena/Owens.
I'm going to go with... Seth Rollins. Not sure how but he will keep the belt. Owens Wyatt to sneakily win this one but lose the feud. Orton but then Sheamus lays him out with the briefcase. PTP retain sadly. King Barrett has to win one at some stage.
Either some of these matches are going long or there is going to be a lot of time spent talking in the back. Maybe both! With talk of appearances I guess that may take a good of time if it happens. Hopefully it will be a perfectly acceptable show even if nothing more.
I have to do this by phone instead of iPad or computer due to a chewed wire.
0) Barrett/R-Truth (battle for the crown match)- Barrett with the Royal Bullhammer for the pin, finally ending this mass of stupidity.
1) Orton/Sheamus (grudge match) - Orton with the RKO and the hometown pin.
2) PTP/New Day (Tag Team Title match) - PTP with the Clash of the Titus after Woods is ejected.
3) Reigns/Wyatt - Reigns finally get revenge with Superman punch and the spear.
4) Cena/Owens (United States Title match) - Most heels since the NWO have been either laughable or able to get a good response. Finally, with Owens, we have a true monster heel (not like Big Show or Henry that changes sides every other month). Also, with the NXT title off of him, that opens up for a pop up power bomb for a new champion.
5) Rollins/Lesnar (WWE World Heavyweight Title match) - Definitely a screwy finish. Will end up a no contest when Undertaker choke slams both men. Sheamus comes in with MITB, hands it over, Brogue kick on Rollins when he comes up, new champion.
I'm sure there will be one unannounced match added on.
Brock Lesnar by DQ. Rumors be damned. The Wyatt Family attack Brock causing the DQ. This leads to Rollins saying he didn't trust the Authority anymore and went outside their help to retain his title. Sets up HHH vs Rollins. This also sets up a 3 on 2 Handicap match at SS between Brock/Reigns vs The Wyatts. Brock and Reigns team up? Waaa? Cesaro vs Ambrose on the Preshow.
Bray Wyatt. The Wyatt Family with the assist.
Kevin Owens. He's the type of guy that would still want the nXt title back. Just because he still has some shows there doesn't mean they wouldn't put the U.S. title on him.
Orton. Sets up a Briefcase stipulation at SummerSlam.
The New Day.
King Barrett.
Miz vs Show if happening will be Show.
Some squash tag team or 3v3 divas match to help get Stephanie's 4 Horsewomen stable over leading up to her Rousey match at Mania. She'll brag about the Real Horsewomen.
Lesnar by DQ. Rollins retains K.O. Bray Wyatt Ryback Sheamus New Day Bella - after the female showcase on Raw they don't have an announced match? There has to be a diva match. Barrett

She'll tie AJ's record on the Raw before Night of Champions, so I think we can safely predict Nikki to retain at Summerslam. It would be awesome if they could engineer it so that Nikki ties the record for longest Diva's Championship Reign and also have John Cena tie Ric Flair's record for most world championships on the same night.
