Just pulling this out into it's own thread. There probably be spoilers here, though it'd be nice to avoid really big ones.
Have you had the pleasure of getting irrationally pissed at the Augmented Reality challenges? Specifically the last four are great.
Yes, and I'm not even as far along with it as you are. I'm supposed to dive bomb and then glide upwards? That's not good physics.
The frustrating side mission for me so far is the Zsasz "answer the phone" mission. The controls are difficult enough to get use to, and I end up using the grapple when I don't mean to and miss the phone (along with other times when I hit the wrong buttons).
I'm just constantly looking for the R1 icon to show up, and holding down X (for running and gliding) when it's not. There's plenty of places to grapple onto in the city, it's the fastest way to travel.
My problem has more been a) I'm about to go in a building for an objective, but that phone is ringing and I surely can't Zsasz kill someone (but then I'm halfway across town when I'm done) b) the phone I'm supposed to pick up is right in the middle of a gang and it's not a good time to be stealthy. (They do usually back off after you answer the call.)
Those I'm pretty far along with, side quest wise. Other stuff, not so much. I really like the ability to map the Riddler trophies to make it much easier to come back later and get them; just have to figure out what I'm supposed to be doing with half of 'em.

Here's the way to look at that: Vic isn't going to add to his tally until you: A) Pick up that phone, and B) Fail to pick up the next phone.
This is about him making you look bad by making you fail to stop him. He can't do that until you answer the phone.
His backstory makes no sense, and yet that makes him creepier: His parents had a ton of money, they died (he didn't kill them AFAIK, they just died), he blew all his inheritance gambling.......and now he's a serial killer with no pattern. Like there's a big gap in his story we're not getting, or worse, there isn't a gap and he's just been that crazy all this time, and the gambling losses were what pushed him over the edge.
Speaking of odd stories(and again, no spoilers): Does Calendar Man actually do anything(i.e. burn down a gay bar October 11th, mug Johnny Depp September 18th), or did they just put him in just to have every character from The Long Halloween in this game?

I think of it like the cape in Super Mario World. Although I've decided not to bother with the advanced augmented reality stuff, since it'll just get me frustrated. Flying the remote controlled batarang through vents is a fun challenge though.
There appears to be a problem with both the PS3 and Xbox Batman DLC, in fact there appear to be numerous problems that are breaking the game.
“I cant even get past the first few minutes of the game without getting this message saying that my downloadable content is damaged and I don’t have anything downloaded,” posted one annoyed Batfan on the Rocksteady forums.
Rocksteady recommend deleting any DLC and reinstalling but this does not seem to work. The problem also appears to be affecting the Robin DLC to some extent and results in the game freezing, crashing and generally not working too well.
Another forum user has reported that the coupon for the Catwoman DLC in his brand new copy of the game was blank. “We are working with Warner on this problem now,” responded Sarah Wellock, European Community Manager of Rocksteady Studios.
Yet more users are reporting that their brand new codes in sealed boxes have already been redeemed.
Meanwhile over on the PS3 users are reporting corrupted save games and game freezing after the Catwoman DLC has been installed.
“We are looking into Catwoman DLC problems so please stay tuned” was the latest message on the Batman Twitter feed.

I have not experienced this problem with my preorder DLC (though I'm not sure I've actually used it), but the Gamestop people were on the phone talking to someone about that exact problem when I was picking up the game. Probably just bad luck of the draw.
My game froze on me last night and I have not installed any DLC yet.
This game is going to consume me for a very long time. I barely played two hours and I've already abandoned the main story.
Gotham is gorgeous, but I fear that staring at that dreary sky for many, many hours is going to make me a dark and depressed person. I'd hate to live in Gotham.
I have yet to have any problems with the game. (knocks on wood)
The last few Augmented Reality challenges aren't really that bad, you just have to try over and over and over and over and over and over and...yeah, they were a pain in the ass.
I've barely made any headway on the main story. MUST...OBTAIN...RIDDLER...TROPHIES
Yeah, I have had a few deaths in Riddler trophies as well, and they helpfully tell me not to attempt to get those things until I have all the upgrades and equipment in the game. Oops.
I have the opposite problem from some of you as after two days I am already 40% done with the main story. I need to stick to more of the side missions and Riddler stuff so that I don't "finish" the game by this weekend.
My favorite boss fight so far was easily Ra's Al-Ghul.

I work at GameStop and one of my customers says he's fiddled around with his system's calendar and found easter eggs on specific days in regards to Calendar Man.

Yea, he's clearly setting up something to occur on Halloween and probably will keep dropping hints on other event days as time goes by.

You got to him? I can't get past the gliding part! (Beginning to wish I hadn't skipped the gliding missions in the eastern part of town.)
The key to that section, even though it doesn't seem like it, is truly alternating with gliding and especially dive bombing with R2. It gives you a good updraft to use, and they are pretty forgiving with allowing you to use R1 to grab onto the next ice sculpture from a good ways back.
Don't get me wrong though, it took me many a time to get that part of the mission done.

Pulled off the gliding, and yeah, Demon's Head is the best boss fight of the game. And it's nice to actually fight some bosses; in AA, you didn't really go hand-to-hand with anyone. In AC, you're actually hitting people. No legit "puzzle" bosses yet. Emphasis on "yet"; I'm en route to Doc Freeze, and I'm sure he's gonna plant an icicle in my back first chance he gets.
Trickiest boss fight in the game so far for me is Mr. Freeze. The way he adapts to your attacks so that you can't use any single attack twice is unspeakably awesome!
Close to the end, I was a little disappointed in who the mastermind was, but it made for a hell of a cut scene that I accidentally skipped. Yet this is why replaying is going to be awesome. No problems with my DLC, so far.
The Wee Baby Sheamus.
Twitter: @realjoecarfley its a bit more toned down there. A bit.
11/01: Nightwing ($7) video teaser 11/22: Robin (Tim Drake) ($7) 12/06: Batman skins ($5)
The Nightwing DLC comes with two additional maps, and it sounds like you only play as him on those maps (you can't take him into the normal campaign.) Robin will likely be the same. The Skins and Robin were part of pre-order packages.
