1. ballot stuffing via online means, since I heard today that paper balloting stopped last week or so.
2. I'm sure plenty of Giants fans, especially those in Silicon Valley, can figure out how to ballot stuff

Don't believe everything the media tries to tell you. Bonds has fans, and they aren't all in NorCal.

Rather, they seem to have more sympathy for Barry Bonds than the white fans do. It's not necessarily racially motivated. Maybe they'd be just as forgiving for anyone accused of using steroids. Maybe the majority of black fans think that you should do whatever you can to gain a competitive advantage. Without more information into why the results are so different, we can't say. | dMp

Perhaps the opinion of many black fans is that they are using him as a scapegoat while other (white) baseball players are not being accused or under investigation like Bonds is?
To me that seems more likely than thinking they condone the use of illegal substances.
