7 years, 84 million is the ESPN.com report. I'm kinda surprised, and yet glad, he chose to stay with the Hornets. I'm not a fan of them by any means, but seeing guys stay with their teams is always a good thing (well, almost always).

Granted, the Hornets will probably trade him in 2 years. That seems to be their style.

Bengals, Playoffs, 2002.

DON'T BELIEVE IT!

Well at least he can afford it. Anyway at the press conference he said Bourbon Street 9 times. Welcome to New Orleans Baron.

Actually isn't the Hornets style to NOT re-sign thier players? SO maybe the Hornets owners are going to change now that they are in New Orleans...

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

(sigh)

If they were capable of change, they'd probably still be in Charlotte. Ah well, as long as we re-up on Baron, I'm happy.

Hmm. Re-signing him... is a good move. Can they make another good move and put people around him?

I've torn myself apart.... and tried to figure out why... but the only answer i was ever given... that really fits..... is the fact... that women are crazy.

5/$81M. That's a bit much, IMO, but he's a Top 3 center and everyone's been overpaying big men lately anyway.
