So, your favorite TNT analysts and mine (Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith) have a little argument a-brewin' concerning number one pick Yao Ming ... Smith says that the Rockets cannot become a competitive team until Yao is recognized as the team's best player; Barkley takes umbrage to this statement and makes a bet that if the big man scores 19 points total in just one game this season then he will kiss Kenny's ass live on national television.
Well, Yao must have used this little outburst as motivation, as he proceeded to break out of his season opening slump and score 20 points (on perfect 9-for-9 shooting) on Sunday against the Lakers ... So, tonight is Game Night on TNT - will Sir Charles live up to his "end" (ooh, what a delicious pun!) of the bargain and become an official member of the "Kenny Smith Kiss My Ass Club"?
Now say the Rockets draft Ming. Aside from everything else they have to give the Chinese team a player in return. Say they agree on Player X. Does he have to go there and play? What happens if he refuses?
