I just got back from my trek from the all powerful wal-mart, and was able to retrieve a real prize DVD, the orginal Batman movie. I know its cheesy, but the commentary with Adam West is hilarious. It got me to thinking, what are some other good DVDs you have picked up new for 10 bucks or under, here are my prize finds.
1) Kingpin
2) Spaceballs
3) UHF
4) Batman (old movie)
5) Suicide Kings

So I pranked death.....with a tire iron!

Believe it or not, all of these I got for 10 bucks and less: Zoolander, Super Troopers, and Goodfellas.

Goodfellas?! How was that $10?

And although I haven't actually bought it yet, I keep seeing The Great Escape for about $10 at Target. I always make a note to get it, then completely forget it.

I bought The Great Escape for 10 bucks as well, but I ordinarily won't go in for most bargain DVDs if it's a movie I really like. Because I know I just know that soon a two-disc remastered letterboxed version of that same movie will eventually be released, and I'll be kicking myself for having a glorified VHS copy.

I also got the original Batman movie for under $10 ($7.99, in fact) at Toys R Us while I was shopping for a birthday gift for my nephew last fall. It's ridiculous how psyched I was about this find; it's one of my favorite movies of all time!

My store just ordered Goodfellas and the price on the invoice from Ingram was $16.38

That means where ever he got it from (if it was new) got a GREAT discount, or is taking a big loss...

Wow, there are 7 posters older than me now! Though I am the oldest poster to have registered in 2001, just edging out the DEAN (who is way down at #20 now). Though Dean does refer to me as gramps now.
