I watch PPVs at a local bar and take note of the crowd as well. The biggest crowds I've seen were for some wrestlemanias where there was not a seat to be had and they had people queued out the door to enter. The smallest crowds I've seen were, well, no-one showing up for WCW PPVs until they finally just stopped ordering them in their death throes.

For Unforgiven, the crowd was smaller, altho not the smallest I've seen. 3 booths actually went unoccupied but they did fill up (with 1 person) after a while. 3 tables went unused, but there were people in the pool room instead of it being totally empty. About 20 stools were available. I've noticed a big drop in WWE merchandise worn/carried in by fans. I saw just two shirts: an old DX shirt and an HHH shirt.

I also noticed the Austin fans who were noticeable for their "What"? chant aren't showing up.

Who did the crowd pop for? Did Benoit get any reaction? Usually they don't care about him when I watch ppvs at hooters. What about Eddy? Or Brock? HHH- how does he stand with the local bar crowd?

Both Benoit and Angle were getting mixed cheers at the bar I was at. Two guys in particular seemed to be verbally sparring with each other during the match, as "their guy" got ahead.

Taker was pretty over as a fan-favorite with quite a few folks there. RVD, not so much.

And not surprisingly, the possibility of HLA went over VERY well with the Hooters crowd. Also not surprisingly, I'm pretty sure most of the Hooters crowd has never had sex.

Benoit didn't get a reaction. Nor did Eddy. HHH didn't get a reaction, but a couple tables emptied out after his match. HLA got a mild reaction. Brock got no reaction, altho midway through his match a patron got into it with the employees and was thrown out on the street which distracted everyone for a bit.

The biggest reaction I have ever seen at a Hooters PPV was HBK at Summerslam..... I guess all the dirty reds at Hooters assoicate with him.

I remember the interview where the announcer (Mean Gene, I think) told Steve Keirn, "You've got a bad attitude!" and Keirn said he liked that and it was going to be the team name.
