Meltzer is also reporting that Kong has been sent home by management. If TNA fires her but keeps Bubba on, I'm done with them.

If she does get fired, I expect Japan or Shimmer to pick her back up, I don't think WWE is ready for her. I don't think Kong is justified for attacking him, but all we have heard is Bubba's story and I trust him as much as I can throw him. It sucks TNA to replace one of their legit wrestlers in exchange for some fat ass parasite. | hansen9j

Assuming this isn't a work, it wouldn't shock me if WWE picked her up. They passed on her the first time, but then she went to TNA and got over, so... y'never know.Originally posted by lotjx I don't think Kong is justified for attacking him, but all we have heard is Bubba's story and I trust him as much as I can throw him.
Justified, no, but she still deserves a medal. (again, assuming this isn't a work)

JB removal and then 'bitching', this story about Kong. The old guys apparently getting pushes, the stuff about the fans being told to behave/be cast members. It's all too much in such short time.
There is no way any organization can seemingly self-destruct so rapidly.

| #7 Posted on 19.1.10 1741.32 | Instant Rating: 4.20 | If the Awesome Kong, Borash, and "cast member" stuff is all a work... what's the point? Is it getting them publicity? Sure, but only on the internet communities and not in mainstream press. And the only effect I've seen it having is driving away the hardcore TNA faithful.
The only point I could see to working all of this is if their endgame plan is for the old TNA order to backlash against Hogan and friends and "take over" the company again and make a stand for what TNA was always about. That would definitely give the old product a new kind of renegade edge, and would reinvigorate the brand, but... would anyone still be around to care one way or another? Pretty much, until that point they'd be catering to people that are still on Hogan & Bischoff's bandwagon and driving off the old faithful fans who don't believe it's a work. Do they really think that those people will come back after being dicked around with for so long? And that the people who are watching BECAUSE of Hogan will want to see the new (old) product?
My mind just boggles... So either it's not a work and they really are trying to turn it into WCW, or they're playing everyone and losing whatever fanbase was willing to try out Hogan's TNA to begin with. Yikes. | RYDER FAKIN

| #8 Posted on 19.1.10 2250.06 | Instant Rating: 9.17 | Re: Bubba. ANYTHING THAT HE DOES...it's a "work" "shoot", "heeling" (is that a word?), "marks", "smarks", etc.
When Bubba was broke, Hogan adopted him in return for a forum where he (Hogan) could still be a star. Until the whole divorce thing went down - strike that - until his kid turned a friend into a brain dead mush, Hogan was God in Tampa - and Bubba rode his coattails. In some circles Hogan is still the man, and Bubba is his #1 MARK
Point being - Bubba loves to "work the smarts" - and crow about it...which in itself is a backwards way of being a mark at the highest level. This is no different
To tie a few things together - at the Wrestle Reunion show in Tampa a few years ago, Bubba had no friends at all, so he set up camp at the DollHouse. Me, after NOT punching Piper(*) in the face like I had planned to do (the motherfucker came in with a camera crew and suckered me in to grab assing on film) I had the car take me and Dr Death (just recovered) over to the DollHouse. He needed it, but ended up very put off by the "Bubba Army" being assholes
Leaving that evening and walking out to DDP and 20 "marks" walking in, one of Bubba crew yelled "Thank GOD we got rid of that Cancer Asshole and now we can have some fun!"
That was the only time I met Williams, but from what folks have told me, he's a mean son of a bitch. He had no throat at the time and could hardly growl, but 3 bouncers stopped him from going back in for Murder. I'm sure of that - I know the look. We went back to the hotel bar and he proceeded to tell me some great stories for 2 hours, but I could tell that shook him up
Not the making fun of him part - but the idea that we left. I know a lot of bad asses, but I never saw anyone take it so seriously. And I'll never forgive Bubba the Sponge for allowing that to happen. Or me not slipping the Bouncers a Grand to look the other way. My saving grace thoughts are that regardless of the money, I ain't Han Solo telling the owners to "keep the change". Bubba and his pussies file lawsuits when things don't turn out their way, which has led me to walk on eggshells at THE IMPACT ZONE (which is another thread)
Long story short - Bubba's so full of shit, his head is a solid turd. It's nice they are "working the boys" in "the back" at "TV"...cause that's what is good competition. Like a Polish Death Squad - stand in a circle and shoot
(*) CRZ and Widro have this story. I should get around to posting it - for Widro, of course. Inside enough cause I'm a MARK MARK MARK

It'll be really troubling if Bubba's around in February while Kong isn't. Why would TNA sacrifice the person that single-handedly launched their Knockouts division and put all their loyalty behind an obnoxious, never-was shock jock that probably won't be around 10 months from now?
Man, Vince is going to love this. He could feud Kong with Hornswoggle for a year and she'll still think it's a step up from dealing with Bubba.

Or team them up: Hornswoggle and Kongswoggle. He could be her big brother or something.
I know that sounds really dumb, but that's still smarter than anything I've heard come from Bubba's yap.

This sucks. Flash is off TNA's roster page already.
Hulk Hogan was on Bubba the Love Sponge's show yesterday, and Bubba called Awesome Kong a "bitch," while Hulk blamed her actions on PMS.

This a day or two after Hogan said, also on Bubba's show, that Kong should be fired.
Say what you will about Vince Russo, or Jarrett, or Dixie -- or Vince McMahon, for that matter -- but none of them ever go on radio shows and talk shit about their employees like that. Hogan is totally, totally classless. What an asshole.

Just shows a total lack of vision on TNA's part. I've seen people tune into Impact just to see Kong, especially during her initial reign of terror. She brought in viewers, even if they were just a few. Bubba will bring in ZERO viewers. Hell, he makes some people change the channel.
Sure, let's keep THAT douchebag around.
