Tuesday night I saw Africa Addio (imdb.com) and Addio Zio Tom (imdb.com) for the first time - and probably for the last time, as they were pretty brutal. Of course I'm richer for the experience - and the remastering wasn't underhyped: they DID look GORGEOUS.
In addition to buying "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" (haven't seen it yet), I found out that SCTV Vol. 4 (amazon.com) ALSO came out Tuesday, so I bought that too. I'm a sucker.
Wednesday...I can't remember doing anything. I guess I was working all day since I closed 7 cases and didn't post here. Oh, I think I took a very long nap when I got home. Yeah, that was the reason. On the plus side, my Newcleus "Space is the Place" LP arrived in the mail - or at least I think - I forgot to open the package!
Thursday I took a two hour lunch to sit around the VW Dealership and sure enough, a "engine coolant temperature sensor" (retail: $5) had malfunctioned. The bill to figure this out AND replace it: $180. Perhaps I should rethink my decision to make a career in software when mechanics are doing SO well!
I'm sure there's more to say but it'll have to wait until Monday. I'm on a SCHEDULE here, people.
